Totally! Like it feels like it would be painful to leave the house. Even if it concretely isn't, Body reacts as though it would be The Worst Thing Ever. LOL

OMG! This is so exactly it! Thank you! Genius.

That's such a great way to put it! LOL

I'm increasingly drawn to seasonality as a guiding framework for life, and for me part of that is recognizing all the cyclical quirks of how Body responds to weather, light and other cues.
How about you? Thinking beyond pumpkin spice cravings, what does the season do to your body? I'm curious!

It's some blend of time change and weather shifts affecting my already weird circadian rhythm, I'm sure. Usually hits about a month after Body starts craving dense vegetable-based baked goods (zucchini bread, pumpkin loaf, whatever). Odd markers of seasonality, but there it is.

Thank you. Yes. Such a strange feeling.

It really is, and it's happening far too often of late. :( Thank you.

That's a really beautiful way of putting it, and so true. Thank you.

Yes. A gentle, distant kind grief, but sad nonetheless. Thank you.

I dunno, 75 still seems young to die. Her obit says her death followed a brief illness. I hope she didn't suffer badly, and that she was surrounded by love.
I think I will light a little candle for her.
Rest in peace, L. I'm glad I knew you, however briefly. 💔

But not for lack of chemistry or magic, that's for sure. I was sad for a long time that we couldn't overcome the hurdles placed between us by politics and distance (she lived on the West Coast).
For some reason I thought of her today, so searched her name just now.
She passed away in 2023.

It was doomed from go. She was in a long-term partnership and my arrival on the scene was challenging. And then, as it turned out, despite being progressive in a lot of ways she had a hard time figuring out what to do with my queerness (as in, I was not a capital-L lesbian). So it fizzled fast. ...

So true!!

Well, you're not wrong, but we can't blame AI for these guys LOL
