I'm searching for the lovechild of Terry Pratchett and Octavia Butler. I love "Nnedi" Okorafor and Ursula LeGuin. I loved "Prophet Song," but I need +uplifting+ now. ♥️
Ok, friends. What are some TV shows we can watch that will help us be "more Irish?" LOL.. But we watched "Money list" (game show with Baz A) yesterday and it was lots of Irish questions- great fun... And "Traitors Ireland" was great, too. Of course we'll watch the toy show this year. What else?

Yeah. This actually sounds good now.
BRO. THAT’S THE BOOK. THAT’S LITERALLY THE BOOK. WHAT THE FUCK.
Apparently Guillermo Del Toro has ruined Frankenstein by… being relatively faithful to the source material.

Oh my.

Just tried "Juicy marbles" vegan "filet" tonight with some teriyaki and sesame seeds, and dang... It's good. The texture is nice, and the flavour was mild. No weird seasoning that made me wonder what it was (it's just soy and beet juice). Yummy.

NEW: Israelis have marched through the capital Tel Aviv demanding an end to the starvation of Gaza.

Protestors carried images of starving Palestinian children & symbolic bags of flour.

A critical reminder that the genocidal force is the Israeli government & IDF, not all Israelis.

We're back in Ireland.
it's gloriously sunny and hot outside: Good hot. Maybe 23°C / 75°F . It's indoors that's kinda stuffy, because there's no air con. But I'll take it. So nice in contrast to Maryland's 90° days with high humidity and dictatorship....

The Ku Klux Klan Acts (passed in 1870 & 1871 to protect 14th amend rights) were particularly focused on masked gunmen who violated the civil rights of Black people. We should remember this history when masked law enforcement ofcrs are deployed in our communities.

We live in a time that people are more inclined to obey an unlawful executive order than they are to follow a court order 🤦🏾‍♀️.

Dictators are created due to cruelty, cowardice, & compliance! IF THEIR ASSES will ignore the Supreme Court, we can definitely IGNORE HIM!

🧵 There are a lot of misleading claims out there about the SAVE Act. Let me set the record straight: I voted for the SAVE Act for the simple reason that American elections are for Americans. Requiring proof of citizenship to register to vote is common sense.
