She's right. You're a lawyer for god's sake, it's your job to fight. The last three months have shown that some people in power are simply too soft for the moment. Toughen up or step aside and let someone with some backbone take over.
Justice Sonia Sotomayor on Thursday night urged the legal profession to toughen up. "If you’re not used to fighting, and losing battles, then don’t become a lawyer," she said. Her remarks came against the backdrop of immense stress on lawyers from the Trump administration.

NEW: The Trump administration deported a 2-year-old U.S. citizen on Friday.

Hours later, a conservative judge who tried to intervene warned of his "strong suspicion" that the administration "just deported a U.S. citizen with no meaningful process."

Why are we now using the words “abducting,” “kidnapping,” and “disappearing” for ICE arrests of educated English speakers? I’m glad to see the brutality called out, but I wish there were the same outrage when Mexican laborers are detained at home in front of their kids.

He entered the USA legally in January and was detained because of his tattoos, EVEN THOUGH he had previously passed a full background check.

Without warning, he was sent to El Salvador on March 15.
