There is literally no ethical use of genAI.
🔥 It's built on theft.
🔥 It consumes vast environmental resources.
🔥 It consumes vast financial resources to support it.
No company currently touting their "ethical" genAI has attempted to address all three. Once they do then MAYBE a discussion begins.

It's so tough to only pick one 😭 But for me, it's gotta be The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater!

I saw someone argue that LLMs are useful for "getting over writer's block" and I hate to tell y'all this, but outsourcing things like "having discipline" to a robot is (like all AI tools for writing) going to make you actively worse at the craft.
