Canceling the commissary might force a large portion of enlisted personnel and some new officers to rely on food stamps, essentially shifting funds between programs. However, the food stamps could also be canceled.
canceling the commissary — and i would assume, exchange — program is a one way ticket to getting a bonus army situation. for those unaware, the commissaries and exchanges are subsidized grocery and department stores for service members, veterans and their families.

Now that this person is leading the Department of Defense, are we actually safer? I'm confused—will he remove women and LGBTQ+ members from the military? Does this imply it's acceptable to engage in harmful behavior like intoxication and assault? This is really concerning.
