#HobbyStreak day 11 - get washed nerds

Yesterday i cleaned up all the little metal flash bits on these and today i cleaned them up. Gotta let them dry before glueing and priming

Bit of wood elf progress - working on these eternal guard buddies first. Gonna get the 3 special dudes done first then focus on the others.

Also, since ive been unofficially doing this for a week anyway, #HobbyStreak day 7!

finally got around to rebasing my wild riders! im debating whether i do some touch ups or strip them entirely or just leave them as is. these are not among my finest work and ive defo increased my skills since i did them. a debate for tomorrow!

Finished off this lady from yesterday. Mostly just sorting the base rim and adding a wash to the hair.

ive decided that she ran out of hair gel and her escher sisters wouldnt loan her any so thats why her hair is all flowy (i just liked the head sculpt tbh)

So in feb I discovered the magic of speed paints and went ham on some of my nighthaunt models. Those grimghast reapers have been half painted for years and im so glad they're finished now. Also shown is a sister of battle who has waited ages for me to paint her face, and two of my eschers!
10 grimghast reapers. Ghostly models, with light and dark blue shrouds, trimmed with gold. Each holds a large silvery scythe on a long wooden handle, with the exception of the leader who has a gold and silver bell on the wood handle. Bases are covered in crackle paint and rimmed in dark blue. Two Escher models, from the Necromunda game. One holds a long curved metal whip in her right hand, and a needle gun in the other. She has multicoloured hair and a yellow coat. The second has a long rifle, and a purple mohawk. Both are wearing primarily yellow clothes, with metal thigh boots. Bases are metallic necromunda bases with a yellow rim. 7 minis, 5 of which are dreadscythe harridans, one is a tomb banshee, and the last a sister of battle. The dreadscythe harridans are ghostly ladies, dressed in light and dark blue shrouds, with scythes replacing their hands, and they are in a variety of battle poses. Each has purple flowing hair with red and yellow roses. Their bases are mostly grey-blue with yellow, red, and orange flowers. The tomb banshee is another ghostly lady in blue, reaching out with one hand and hiding a silver dagger in her red hair in the other hand. Her base is square, with skulls and red flowers and a purple trim. The sister of battle is dressed in purple and gold armour, with pink sleeves and skirt. She stands with a sword pointed upwards in victory, and a gun down to her side. She has a hood with a crown on her head. She is standing on an icy blue base, rimmed in pink.

Here's my january painting log (like 3 days late oops), i am defo enjoying getting back into mini painting but oh boy were those barriers in the back annoying to do. first image is stuff painted from scratch, second is the stuff i just finished off.
A variety of tabletop miniatures, brightly painted. Including 4 extended ladders, 4 folded ladders, 2 wooden boxes, 2 ammo piles, 2 hanging skeletons, 2 ravens perched on pillars with keys in their beaks, 4 metal barriers, and 3 pirate/wild west style ladies. 5 tabletop minis. 3 are Tau from warhammer 40k with sci fi weapons. One of the other two is a purple tiefling wielding two daggers, and the other is a lady in a red polkadot skirt with a pistol.
