bit more progress! thats the main coach body done, as well as the harness for the horses.

next step, paint the spooky ponies, attach to the cart, then look into basing. im leaving the ghosties till last.

progress so far! thats 3 subassembly parts sorted, with a 4th not far behind.

im mostly using speedpaints because a) there is so much plastic on this mini and 2) theres a good chance ill wake up tomorrow, decide i dont want to do it, and throw it in a box for another 3 years

#HobbyStreak day 11 - get washed nerds

Yesterday i cleaned up all the little metal flash bits on these and today i cleaned them up. Gotta let them dry before glueing and priming

#HobbyStreak day 8 features the champion of these eternal guard. I've decided i'm going to paint the champ, the musician, and the standard bearer properly, then just do washes for the others.

Really happy with the cloak on this dude!

Bit of wood elf progress - working on these eternal guard buddies first. Gonna get the 3 special dudes done first then focus on the others.

Also, since ive been unofficially doing this for a week anyway, #HobbyStreak day 7!

finally got around to rebasing my wild riders! im debating whether i do some touch ups or strip them entirely or just leave them as is. these are not among my finest work and ive defo increased my skills since i did them. a debate for tomorrow!

#hobbystreak 21 has a bit of an experiment. I have these cursed city bats that i keep procrastinating painting, and also these speedpaints i want to try layering.

The two big bats first have a layer of red, then brown. The two pairs of medium bats have either purple or blue. Thoughts?

For #hobbystreak day 20 I finished* these two eschers!

*they still have a few tiny details to do but i spent so long trying to get the skin colour to play ball that im giving up for now.

Look, I'm not saying that building a mini gundam for #hobbystreak day 18 was a mistake, but i was very mentally exhausted by the lack of instructions and only managed to xenithal (zenethel?) a few eschers today. Its fine. It counts.

#hobbystreak day 17 is a day of little bits on a few projects - mostly trying to sort out the pink on this tank and underpainting some more eschers.

#hobbystreak days 13-16 have been spent yeeting paint at these boats, which are now done!

Now excuse me while i hide the little ones away...

managed to prime lady haera yesterday in my lunch break so my #hobbystreak continues into day 12! More paint on these boats. I feel like im adding too much gold but thatll even out when i add the cooler colours.

Boats!

These are dwarf ships from Mantic games' Armarda game. In the background is one i made earlier. lots of blues and golds and metallics and reds
9 ships of various sizes, with an airship and a bird just barely visible at the back. The fully painted ship has a dark silver hull, gold prow, gold details, red wheels, and a blue section at the top. The remaining ships are primed in black, with various blue metallic and dark silver sections painted.

Forgot to post last night but - #hobbystreak day 4! i'm trying out edge highlighting, i mixed my armour blue into a lighter blue and i quite like it! first time properly edge highlighting, had to do a lot of clean up. question tho - should i edge highlight all armour edges or just the ones in light?

#hobbystreak day 3! Starting to work on my arbites. I've been enjoying playing kill team at my flgs so picked these up a while back with some inquisitorial agents and sororitas. Defo liking the colour scheme on the dog!

Finished off this lady from yesterday. Mostly just sorting the base rim and adding a wash to the hair.

ive decided that she ran out of hair gel and her escher sisters wouldnt loan her any so thats why her hair is all flowy (i just liked the head sculpt tbh)
