one of the most corrosive habits of online dunk culture is making it imperative that everyone be correct at all times and making it harder to be like "oh shit i didn't know that" and then change your mind, which is something that is normal, healthy, and good, imo.

[Tags: Destiny 2, destiny2art, art tab, comics] (P18) Zavala stretches his hand up. His face is filled with despair, tears and blood. ZAVALA (V.O.): “I wanted to reach out and grab it. Make it stay. Make it save us, as we always thought it would.” (P19) But the Traveler is already gone. Under the red sky, Cabal ships take over the City. ZAVALA (V.O.): “But that was it. Gone. Cabal forces crumbled the rest.” (P20) Rasputin interrupts them. Close-up on his eyes. RASPUTIN: “Файлы Красного Легиона успешно расшифрованы.” (P21) The sisters leave their stands to go to him, while Zavala watches from his place. RASPUTIN: “Планы Всемогущего получены.”; ANA: “What’s that, Red?”; ELSIE: “Did he say what I think he said?” (P22) They're next to Rasputin, and while he speaks, Ana translates his saying. RASPUTIN: “Сводка планов Красного Легиона: захватить Странника и забрать Свет.”; ANA: “He says Ghaul’s plans to ensnare the Traveler and harvest its Light.”; RASPUTIN: “Начинаю копировать файлы.” (P23) ANA (O.S.): “The blueprints, they’re all here. He’s copying them now.” Elsie’s eyes wide up upon the new info. (P24) Elsie looks back to Zavala with a renewed vigor and confidence. ELSIE: “Looks like you might get your chance to capture the Traveler after all.” (P25) She taps her closed fist at her palm, gesturing her plan. ELSIE: “We bring it back here. Make it fight and restore the Light.” (P26) But Ana is reluctant, her back turned to the camera. ANA: “You’d need to find it first.” (P27) In answer, Rasputin activates one of his protocols. RASPUTIN: “Активирую протокол LOKI ARROW. Запускаю систему отслеживания.” (P28) Zavala stands up with the help of his crutch, confused, and Elsie explains. ZAVALA: “What’s he saying?”; ELSIE: “That he can track it. The Traveler.” (P29) Rasputin's eye glows like a radar. ELSIE (O.S.): “Clovis installed the capability as a failsafe in case it ever tried to run off.” RASPUTIN: “Цель: Странник. Статус поиска: В процессе.” (P30) Still, Ana persists to be pessimistic. Close-up on her mouth. ANA: “Even with Red tracking it, we’d need an army to build Ghaul’s device.” (P31) Elsie turns to Ana, slightly upset. Ana still looks down. ELSIE: “Ana, this is as good a shot as we’re going to get. Did you drag me all this way to give up now?” (P32) Ana slightly grimaces. ANA: “No… No, you’re right. We can figure this out.” (P33) The trio glance back at Zavala. Ana now wears a smile, faking her gloom from seconds ago. ANA: “What do you say, Commander? One last ride for Ikora?” (P34) Determination finds Zavala after so long, and he faintly smiles. ZAVALA: “I suppose. If this is the end of the world, we may as well go down swinging.” (P35) The group reunited, Ana looks at them with confident eyes, but her eyebrows still frown. We don't see Zavala's face, but we see him up and holding his crutch. ANA: “We’ll still need that army.”; ZAVALA: “I know of someone in command of an army who has a bone to pick with Eris…” (P36) A large panel that takes ⅔ of the page, revealing a whole army inside a building we can’t tell yet which is. On the left, the Imperial Cabal forces. On the right, the Eliksni crew. In front of the army, four figures are recognizable: the leaders of the army, Empress Caiatl, Variks and, at the center stands Queen Mara Sov and her fury Petra Venj. In this panel, their backs are turned to the camera. (P37) And their faces are revealed here, focused on Mara, the leader of the resistance. ZAVALA (V.O.): “We need to find Mara Sov.”

[Tags: Destiny 2, destiny2art, art tab, comics] (P1) Darkness covers the first half of the page, but the dim light of the ambient reveals Eris Morn walking upstairs inside the Pyramid, towards the veiled statue. ERIS (V.O.): “Understand, Guardian. This power we wield is not a gift from a benevolent overseer.” (P2) Eris extends her hand, and the Darkness gifts her with its artifact. ERIS (V.O.): “It is a tool, stolen from an enemy. One that is all too tempting to abuse.” (P3) Canon Timeline, the focus is on Eris Morn, sat by the bonfire as she speaks to POV. Behind her, the Drifter stands casually and Elsie stays afar, watching the Ziggurat. ERIS: “I know this well. Before the Stranger came to offer her guidance, I despaired of my entanglement with the Darkness.” (P4) Close-up on Eris’ Hive Eyes, glowing in melancholy as she concludes her thoughts. ERIS: “I shudder to think how easily I could’ve slipped down the path to destruction.” (P5) Back to the Dark Future, a close-up on Ana Bray's eyes, also looking melancholic. ERIS (V.O.): “How anyone could.” (P6) Establishing shot of the once known as Almighty, now serving as home for the old Commander. ZAVALA (O.S.): “Do you remember this, Warmind? Our great success… And our final victory. There are files in there I’ve been trying to decrypt for years. Maybe you’ll have better luck.” (P7) Inside the wreckage, Warmind Rasputin works on decrypting the files. Behind him, Ana, Elsie and Zavala are around a bonfire. ANA: “I can’t imagine Eris…”; ZAVALA: “Eris wasn’t special. She was corrupted as easily as the rest.” (P8) Commander ZAVALA uses his crutch to control the fire while preparing a kettle for that night, his face is emotionless as he speaks. Behind him, Rasputin works on the glitching consoles. ZAVALA: “She came to me after finding an artifact inside a Pyramid on the Moon and deceived us all. The Bombardment was her masterstroke…” (P9) ZAVALA (O.S.): “…proving that the Darkness destroys all it touches.” Wrapped in Rasputin's cloak, Ana glances at Elsie with a hopeful look, but Elsie's eyes are closed while listening. (P10) Ana turns back to Zavala. ANA: “What happened that day? It’s been impossible to find accurate recounts.”; ZAVALA: “We were outnumbered.” (P11) Flashback of the Bombardment, Zavala is falling, his armor in scraps and his torn leg gushing blood. His Ghost Targe gushes Light out, and behind him, a glance of Eris — as Hive — controls his fate. ZAVALA (V.O.): “When the Witch Queen found me, she called me ‘the nonbeliever’ as she tore my leg from its joint and pulled the Light from my Ghost, discarding me like trash.” And in front, the silhouette of Ikora Rey dissolves in air, only her upper half visible. ZAVALA (V.O.): “Ikora had it worse.” (P12) Listening to Zavala’s memory, Ana’s eyes are filled with tears, but she listens to all of it attentively, and Elsie observes her sister. (P13) Elsie watches Ana with sadness. The urge to console her burns in her stomach. ZAVALA (O.S.): “I looked up to the Traveler, hoping it would be our salvation from this atrocity.” (P14) A sight of Elsie’s memory, when the oldest girl hugs and comforts her crying sister, petting her hair gently. YOUNG ELSIE: “It’s okay. I’ll help.” (P15) Elsie grips her own arms, repressing that memory. (P16) And she turns her face away from Ana, denying her urge to console her sister. ZAVALA (O.S.): “But instead…” (P17) Another flashback, a large landscape panel of a defeated Zavala in the debris of the Tower, watching the Traveler’s departure from Earth. His leg is still gushing blood and his Ghost is broken next to him. ZAVALA (V.O.): “It just… left. Abandoned us when we needed it most.”

(P2) The glitched glimpse of Ikora after casting a Nova Bomb, the first-person hand dissolving in sight. "No..." is repeated. (P3) The glimpse of a rifle pointing at a bleeding Zavala. "Nothing..." echoes. (P4) The glimpse of the Nightmare of Ana smirking, and she mocks. "How many dead Anas am I made from? Ten? Twelve?" (P5) "You're doing it again, aren't you?" words from reality calls, and Elsie's eyes opens back to present. (P6) "Investigating your memories." The Guardian completes her question as the Pouka leaves Elsie's hand. (P7) Elsie looks away, visibly tired, the Pouka floating next to her head. "... I can't stand still..." (P8) "Any progress, at least?" the Guardian asks, leaning her back on the desk. "No. This is the farthest I've come in any timeline." Elsie answers, leaning down to see the screen in front of her. (P9) The screen shows a sort of digital board, picturing sketches of the Witness and the Veil, as well as a photo of the Traveler's portal. "The Witness, the Veil or the Portal... I can't track anything consistent about them." (P10) As Elsie explains her lack of progress, it shows her hand covered with Stasis. "I also tried to look for anything about Neomuna and Strand," (P11) "but all of this seems to be new to me." Elsie finishes, being watched by the Guardian. (P12) Then, Elsie looks at the Guardian, deviating the subject. "... I suppose you bring news from Titan—" (P13) Same panel as before, but the Guardian reaches for Elsie's hand. "If you really need to trigger your memories," (P14) "at least don't do it alone." says the Guardian, closing the distance and leaning herself on Elsie. (P15) "Fish, c'mere." she calls it while holding Elsie's hand between hers, and the Pouka floats next to them. (P16) The Guardian returns to talk to Elsie, who contemplates the gesture. "Share the burden with me, and then..." (P17) The Pouka lands over their hands, glowing as the two lean their heads on each other, calmness shaping between the three of them. "...we'll get you out of the storm."
