so in Trump's view, it's ok to kill people when "not liked" but it's not ok or warranted to question abusive rulers about the terrible crimes their security agencies oversee?
Yes we know they're allies. shocking to witness the depth of Orwellianism, talking & breathing.
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

Germany once again silencing freedom of speech and freedom of academia. There's not even an attempt here to conceal the bias of the authorities in enabling Israeli genocide, suppressing palestinians and those who defend their rights.
The LMU announces the cancellation of a seminar on the topic "the targeting of Palestinian academia". The cancellation announcement is titled "LMU as a place of pluralistic discourse". Couldn't make this up.
