Places to sit on Nicollet Mall: 1. Peavey Plaza, lots of concrete 'benches", a few metal chairs, and the blue Adirondack chairs. One of my fave spots in the city.

so my husband died this week. we were separated for the past year and a half and going thru divorce paperwork. we were together for 20 years. he was a good man, and had some mighty struggles. people are sharing their stories of him.

I’m sad to deliver the news that we unfortunately did not win our campaign for re-election. I have called the new Council Member-elect and wished her well. My term will be ending at the end of December this year, and I plan to use the next two months to do as much as I can for Ward 7 residents.

Your Dad partied with the DSA last night & I gotta say, they’re a fun group. Heartened by their hard work fueled by a love of the city. The irony is government can only do so much, so people who are into the city-as-city boost the culture & make this a place where I want to remain despite shittery.
