Made cheese bread for the first time for "soupsgiving." I used Westminster rustic red cheddar for the diced cheese called for in the recipe (www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/no-k...) and opted for an overnight cold proof instead that i think turned out great, its officially baking season! #breadsky

Deone Walker is a monster. If he continues at the pace he's on, he will have a better rookie season than chris jones and calais campbell, and a comparable one to Dexter Lawrence. Doubled Campbell's season long TFL's last night against maybe the best RB in the league.

I'm sure a million people have already posted it, but any excuse to post the story of Robert Redford not getting cast in The Graduate should be taken

The Ravens looked like the Monstars for 3.75 quarters so then of course Josh Allen and the Bills pulled some Bugs Bunny shit, it was unreal

If I were a democrat praying for a Mamdani alternative in the general I'd be pulling out my hair right now. No need to spend money on polished attack ads, just air this clip cut at the grand opening of a concentration camp
Trump: "You have a good independent running -- Mayor Adams, who's a very good person. I helped him out a little bit. He had a problem."

Moreover, their "uniform" is almost perfectly designed to inspire stochastic terror attacks by people claiming to be ICE. When one of these brown shirts shows up at someones house in a castle doctrine state and ends up leaking gray matter, how can it be interpreted as anything but self defense?

Calling ranked choice non-democratic is misguided or an argument made in bad faith. It is a higher level of democracy, closer to it's platonic ideal: either people get their first choice for mayor or one of their following picks. Either way, everyone's voice is heard, which I thought was the point.
Oh lol so he's definitely gonna win huh?

Meeting with the scripted entertainment steroid people to plan for a council on sports fitness + nutrition seems pretty on the nose.
I'm old enough to remember my delight when Vince McMahon finally left WWE for good (this time's for real, right?) and thought I could finally enjoy their product without qualms. Well, between the below and the fact that they're sportswashing the Saudi regime again in two weeks ...

Respectfully, I don't understand how someone can achieve such success and still generate opinions like this. 9/11 was a tragedy, but was then used as a justification to infringe on our freedoms. Plainly obvious that rights at large are harmed by the curtailment of rights in particular.

30% of all house purchases last year were made by private equity and public services were, only a month ago, being dismantled by the richest man on earth, having himself been appointed by another billionaire. How is it ham handed or missing the point to identify these facts as core issues? Unserious
this guy lmfao no its the bottom of the top thats the problem not the top of the top & we wont confront either of them

While I appreciate the sentiment and understand how this is a deescalation from the Bush years, it remains aligned with long standing state policy, specifically that "those guys" only ever includes US allies. see pre-theocracy Iran, soviet-era afghanistan, etc. The identity lens obscures this fact.
Good NYT story on where this craze came from.

In the long run, seems healthy that the "nuke Mecca and destroy Islam" politicking of the Bush years has been replaced by "those guys have cool orbs and candy, let's go on vacation there!"

If there is any doubt that the democrat party is full of shit re: ability to make law, it should be completely extinguished by the legislative blitzkrieg the current administration has undertaken. A useless, controlled opposition party whose real and only objective is to stymy any legitimate change.

If only there was a place, a system perhaps, where matters of fact could be analyzed and the veracity of those facts could be evaluated. Somewhere an impartial observer or group of observers could pass judgement. Interesting idea, someone should look into this.
"I could," Trump said when asked if he could pick up the phone and bring Abrego Garcia back.

This wrecks Trumpworld's fake distinction between ORDERING Bukele to release him and merely ASKING him to do so. OF COURSE Buleke would do this if Trump asked.
