living in a small town has its downsides but I parked on the street last night forgetting that our winter parking ban is in effect and instead of ticketing me, by-law left a note on my car reminding me of the ban and asking me to please not do that again

currently obsessed with an old house that is for sale in my town. it was built 200 years ago by our town's first presbyterian minister who was so cranky that he is still known for it today. the house is in rough shape and has five fireplaces and original woodwork. i can't stop thinking about it

Leaf blowers are my enemy. Loud, ecologically disastrous, wasteful, sanitizing monsters. We already have a leaf blower, and it’s the wind. And she is beautiful. You want to mimic the wind? You want to tell her how to do her job?? You prick.
