This is the second in a very important series of articles regarding pedestrian deaths in the Tampa area. Thank you to the #tampabaytimes and reporter/editor #grahambrink.

You just know that “Did Women Ruin the Workplace?” bit would have done NUMBERS in this little clique
Something absolutely perfect about Larry Summers riffing about the scourge of woke cancel culture being unfair to predatory men in a friendly email to his pal JEFFREY EPSTEIN.

They’ve laid off so many people that the government is now getting its economic data from DoorDash.

And every American will soon find out what their elected representatives really think about providing their constituents with the ability to access affordable health insurance.

While I didn’t appreciate the caving of the 8 Democratic senators on the shutdown, as a former government employee, I feel for the sacrifices these folks have been making. Really, there were no easy answers

The great thing about health care as an issue for Democrats is that while the details are complicated and inevitably end up being controversial, at a high level the public’s moral values on this topic are very progressive

Yes. This.
I don’t understand camps saying: Dems need to follow the Mamdani model to win the midterms; or Dems need to follow the Spanberger model to win. It’s a big country. Different approaches work in different places. Candidates who connect w/their specific constituencies is the model.

Ever since day one of his second term, Trump has used ‘national emergencies’ to bypass Congress and rule by decree. This week, the Supreme Court will weigh in, and if it sides with him, the decision could pave the way for unchecked presidential power and a slide toward autocratic rule in the U.S.

I actually feel a little sorry for Mike Johnson. Before he became Speaker only a handful of people knew what a smarmy little idiot he was. Now, several hundred million people know.

Say it again. Extrajudicial killings.
If the current administration ever ends, many people in (and around) it will need to be prosecuted. From influence peddling to flat-out murder, their crimes seem to accumulate each and every day.
