Actually, there is data on that. What you described in the first sentence is the U-3 data. U-6 data counts people under-employed and those who have lost hope and dropped out of the workforce - almost twice the U-3. We should use the U-6 data for a better measure.

Realizing just how much my burnout as a midwife is linked to cult thinking and my broken relationship with my maga father. I would bet this is an epidemic for millennial children (and some GenX).

This is an attempt to criminalize free speech and suppress dissent. If we don’t take a strong stand against this, it’s the end of our democracy, and not just higher education. Universities are the trial balloon, but it doesn’t end here. Next, it will be employers, cities and towns, and individuals.
