Kind of dismissed this cement battery thing when it first came out, but maybe it has legs?
Concrete “battery” developed at MIT now packs 10 times the power
New concrete and carbon black supercapacitors with optimized electrolytes have 10 times the energy storage of previous designs and can be incorporated into a wide range of architectural forms.

Every reputable expert I know considers mRNA vaccine technology to be one of the most revolutionary advances in medicine in our lifetimes. Its inventors won the Nobel Prize in 2023. Shutting it down now is pointless self-harm to humanity.
Release from HHS: HHS will wind down its development of the mRNA vaccine development activities under the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA).

Australia now has two rural/regional conservative parties. Libs hold only a handful of capital city seats, and three leading contenders to replace Dutton all hold rural seats (Hastie, sometimes mentioned, is in Canning, which is a mixed bag of rural, regional and outer suburban.

-create a crisis by announcement
-make a "deal" that does nothing new but withdraws the announcement
-claim that he prevented the crisis he initiated
FACT CHECK: Canada has already announced this plan BEFORE Trump announced his tariffs.

Excellent Dana Daniel report on the ‘Voices’ campaign to oust Labor MP Dave Smith from Bean (ACT).

I admire the indies ousting the MPs they did at the 2022 election. But running against good MPs like Dave Smith is crossing the line. Not impressed.
