My ancestors were slaves in Texas & were freed on June 19, 1865. They came together to meet with other ex-slaves & formed the Limestone County 19th of June Organization. They bought 30 acres of land on Lake Mexia.

It’s been one month since I had my hysterectomy and endometriosis procedure. I’m feeling great! My body is still healing. I have good and bad days but can already tell how different my life is going to be once fully healed. Best decision I ever made!

We’ve been going through each room of our house doing a massive declutter. It’s such a liberating feeling to release items taking up space just because “we might need/want it one day”. We want to live intentionally and I think this is helping!
