Back from Your Party conference now. Some thoughts...

It was very messy indeed.

And 2,500, while a good number, looked tiny given initial hopes of 13,000, and the huge size of the venue.

The party is deeply divided and I can't see that dying down any time soon (1/x)

Before the Budget I told you the Chancellor was going to do 3 things with it:

💷 Tacking the cost of living
✂️ Cutting NHS waiting lists
📉 Driving down borrowing and debt

How did I know?

Because if you ignore the media and listen to what the government said, they told us.

And she delivered all 3.

Don't Panic: Britain is not broken. The UK can do better, but we shouldn't be too gloomy about things. If you look at the stats, there's a lot to be happy with (including how happy we are): adamcorlett.com/2025/11/30/d...

Farage filmed circa 2,000 fan videos over past 12 months making £140K - but spoke in HOP only 22 times for which we (taxpayers) pay the Grifting parasite £94K plus considerable expenses..

Just think… how much time did it take him to film 2000 videos, versus his job as an MP❗️😡

A Mirror probe shows the Reform MP has made £140,000 from the Cameo messaging platform - but spoken in Parliament 22 times and mentioning his Clacton constituents on just three occassions

Laura Kuenssberg's argument that Rachel Reeves misled voters by suggesting she was short of cash, as a smokescreen to increase welfare doesn't even make sense. A Chancellor of the Exchequer can choose what spending they cut or increase. It is not illegal for them to decide to increase it.

70 per cent of the money from lifting the two-child cap is going to children whose parents are working.

A third of Universal Credit claimants are in work. People claim benefits to reduce their hours to raise children or care for parents.

This is a long one. But well
Worth a read. It sets out our Labour governments growth plan. From New Towns to infrastructure to paying down our debt. It’s clear and concise and worth quarter of an hour of your time. I’d get a drink though!!!
Rightly lots of debates about growth this weekend - rightly because it was low productivity growth that saw wages entirely flatline during the 2010s.

And people wonder why Labour is lagging in the polls. Farage lies every time he opens his month. And he still has not apologised to the victims of the grooming gang scandal for lying and besmirching their names. Where is the scrutiny of Reform?
