Georgia Ann Robinson (5/1879–9/1961)US police officer. The 1st Black female appointed a police officer at the Los Angeles PD (LAPD). She was also presumed the 1st first Black policewomen hired in the country. She joined the force in 1916 as a volunteer jail matron & was appointed an officer in 1919.

Side note. There are eight members of the joint chiefs. the chair is black. the CNO (navy) is a woman. the other six are white guys. chair and the cno got fired tonight.
