I would like to be the purest blue sky overhead. The base colour, an eternal calm and openness. Accepting all the changes of light and shadow: it can accommodate the free stretching of white clouds, but also dares to face the baptism of the storm directly.

My prediction? Many GOP senators will likely resist the nuclear option because it permanently rewrites Senate rules. Even in crisis...they’re wary of eliminating the filibuster...knowing any party that breaks it...risks losing vital minority protections when power shifts. We'll see...
