So thrilled to see my (now former) Federation of Canadian Municipalities Board colleague Rebecca Alty as a new Minister! I know she will be an excellent leader on the Crown-Indigenous file. Congratulations! @fcm.ca #addwomenchangepolitics
Canada, meet your new Cabinet.

This is a team that is empowered and expected to lead.

Together, we will create a new economic and security relationship with the United States and build a stronger economy — the strongest economy in the G7.

Relieved to hear that all the advocacy from my sector ensured that Carney re-introduced a Minister for Women and Equality.

Reminder that holding politicians accountable is literally our job as voters.

Calling out Carney did not mean we wanted the CPCs to win. It was for this exact outcome.

Cities are the resistance.
The state of Utah voted to ban pride flags so Salt Lake City Council decided to make official city flags that incorporate the progress pride, Juneteenth, and transgender flags so they can fly them without breaking state law
If approved, SLC would have 4 flag designs. It's current, as well as one tied to Progress Pride, Juneteenth and Transgender designs as seen here #utpol:

Previous reporting on this event really sanitizes just how extreme this group was

I watched hours of livestream videos. They kept screaming at Liberal supporters *repeatedly* calling them "pedophiles" and shouting homophobic and transphobic slurs, along with anti-immigrant and antisemitic rhetoric
This viral photo of a ‘Liberal Boomer’ is missing context. He was being harassed by far-right activists.

A Liberal supporter is now facing doxxing and intense online harassment after an aggressive group of far-right activists crashed a Mark Carney event
