One of the biggest issues from how authoritarian regimes are messaged by the US media as failures of socialism is that they don't convey how things like barren store shelves are usually a result of incompetent economic mismanagement rather then overall economic system. Venezuela comes to mind.

This partially why I left Twitter. The new terms of service require litigation to be in the Northern district of Texas with far right judges. He can start utilizing that clause on news orgs with Twitter accounts. This issue is why I filed an amicus brief detailing this exact problem.

Was able to snap the quick photo from my work trip. 600ft MSL and I’m able to see the Sierra from my work site (with the right weather). Absolutely love coming out here.

The only thing I’m thankful for from other social media platforms is learning how to detect bots. Slowly watching them come over here and making full use of the block button.
