It's fun that on my phone I am frequently urged to "use the app" for browsing various websites, and on the desktop people seem ok with doing hours upon hours of data analysis in a freaking browser tab.

I liked it better when software just did what you told it to, instead of spontaneously prompting you all the time for this or that.

I really do think we’re well beyond this point.
If you pretend that your differences with friends and coworkers and family are about “politics” when in fact they’re about right versus wrong and fascism versus the rule of law, you’re doing your country a grave disservice.

I’ve seen Musk retweet several “thoughtful” tweets by other billionaires about why they are voting for Trump. It seems odd that none of them say a peep about Jan 6. Bill Ackman even gets in a dig about the food pyramid (?!). But nothing about Trump’s coup attempt. Not even to dismiss it.
