• Ironically, Marina Sirtis and Gates McFadden were the only members of the cast that were trained in sword fighting, but only the men were allowed to use swords. (Mission Overview: Year Four, TNG Season 4 DVD special features) • McFadden commented, "Marina and I have always laughed about the fact that both of us can do fencing and that sort of thing. "How am I supposed to believe Jean-Luc Picard is from France?"

Proof:
Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden, Patrick Stewart, Marina Sirtis, LeVar Burton and some creepy guy (Rick Berman) standing in front of a large display of the "Star Trek: Picard" title, the "a" is substituted by a Starfleet delta emblem, which is behind Stewart and makes him look like a "conehead" from Saturday Night Live.
