Public transportation in parts of Istanbul are halted.

Any public gathering is banned for 4 days in the city

The government cut access to socal media, even on WhatsApp reportedly videos & photos are not sent.

Aim is to head off mass protests and appoint an unelected trustee as Istanbul mayor.
This should be the last straw for the Turkish opposition. Unless there are mass protests, which the government is trying to prevent at all costs, Turkey is now very much a closed autocracy. www.nytimes.com/2025/03/19/w...

Club bosses in the EFL & PL seem united in misery. They moan about money, agents, media, fixtures, the regulator. There are no easy answers but I think the answers get easier if the EFL & PL were united under one body again. Football is better together.
