Unsolicited opinion: No sim subs is a BS rule. Many venues stay closed to subs for 2yrs and take 3-18 months to respond w/ an R. A story takes many subs to get accepted. If authors subbed to 1 venue at a time, it'd take 7+ yrs to get 1 story published.
