Heard the family behind us in line say the boy wanted to sit front row. I turned and said “yall can take it” It turned out the lady’s son has autism and loves rollercoasters. He waved hi to me and gave me a fist bump. She said he doesn’t do that to just anyone and “he can tell who has a good heart”

At work, I don’t even have to pull the temporal data on pediatric mortality because their BIG 5 are always Sepsis or a respiratory illness. Children are young & healthy. So acute illnesses are their demise.
