For the love of PBJ, why do they have to keep making different versions of the Jardiance ad? It doesn't matter who sings it, it's annoying as fuck.

Dear senators who think you can’t do anything,

Today, Senator Van Hollen - through diplomatic pressure - got a meeting with Abrego Garcia in El Salvador. So that thing you’re thinking about doing? DO IT.

5.) Use every hour of post-cloture debate.
6.) Force a roll call after cloture expires.
7.) Deny unanimous consent to table the motion to reconsider if nominee gets a majority vote.
8.) At any point in the above, deny unanimous consent to move on to other Senate business whenever cloture is invoked.

The power of a Democratic Senator in 2025/2026

1.) Place a blanket hold on all cabinet nominees.
2.) Force a majority vote for cloture.
3.) Band together to secure a roll call for every vote.
4.) Deny unanimous consent on leader cloture filings. This forces 2 extra days and a roll call.

If Biden were to order the Attorney General to release the Jack Smith report, the Supreme Court has ruled that would be an official act and subject to absolute presidential immunity. Just sayin.

Since it appears we can no longer email POTUS, I’m going to call and remind him.

We don’t have a spending problem—we have a tax revenue problem.

Republicans want working folks to continue to fund MASSIVE tax cuts for the rich by convincing us to cut services & benefits for those who need it most.

The only thing we need to do is reverse tax cuts & loopholes for the mega rich.

This is a man who, with the stroke of a pen could end world hunger, eliminate homelessness and poverty and be a world class hero.

Instead, he's just a greedy, selfish zero.

Through executive order, President Biden should mandate that the FBI conduct background investigations on Trump’s picks and instruct the FBI to begin the process now. The U.S. Senate should use its power to request the same of the FBI.
