Tories and Reform want to quit the European Convention on Human Rights.

Since 1980, the ECHR court has heard 29 cases of immigrant deportation. UK won 16. No defeats in the last 5 yrs.

Quitting ECHR won't fix illegal immigration, will destroy our freedoms and rights.

What do we think?🤔

Hmm…. A Daily Mail headline so clearly designed to make you furious.

Being shared by salivating Tory MPs who love a good rage farming story!

So, what’s going on here?

Let’s take a look!👀

Today's Monday Mood is Smiley 💜

We think this picture of a beautiful smiling mum is the perfect way to start the day.

If you're feeling smiley today, why not share your smile with those around you, and pass on the joy? You may brighten someone's day.

Before vaccination (breastfeeding was more common than now) 95% of kids got smallpox (up to30% mortality), 90% measles (up to 20% mortality), 70% percussion, 60% mumps, 20% rubella, 10% polio, 10% dipheria (with 30-50% mortality). Deaths would be lower today. Sequelae might not.

Tories to force vote to disapply Human Rights Act in immigration cases

Human rights are universal - if we start stripping away basic human rights from any section of society then none of us has rights- just privileges that can be taken away by people in power when they want

Resonant words from the Auschwitz Memorial today:

“Auschwitz was at the end of a long process. It did not start from gas chambers. Hatred was gradually developed. From ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through dehumanization & violence to systematic & industrial murder.

“Auschwitz took time.”
