Some of us haven’t forgotten… and we should not. The shootings at #KentState took place 55 years ago today. Like a couple of the students who were killed, I was also 19 yrs old and in college. The massacre left 4 dead and another 9 wounded, all were unarmed.😔

Garcia could have sent an angry mob to attack the Capitol, based on NO evidence that an election was rigged, and I would still say that he deserves due process.

Monsters are terrorizing children in their schools. 😠
Glad House Dems are demanding a full briefing—because immigration agents showed up at L.A. elementary schools, and DHS lied about it.

Watch the video. Hear the truth from L.A.’s superintendent. Then ask why the hell Homeland Security is targeting kids.

Don’t let this go!!!

People who appease authoritarians always wind up being left alone after that, right? That’s how it works? You knuckle under once, and they don’t ask you to compromise your morals again.

I assume that’s what all of history and political science suggest, or why do it, right?

Game of Thrones spoilers:

Remember when Ned was promised mercy if he lied and declared that Joffrey was the rightful king?

And then Joffrey had Ned executed anyway?

I would never want a heartless, incompetent narcissist like that in charge.

... Don't know what made me think about that.

Even if getting rid of the Depart. of Education was a good thing (it's not), ignoring the constitution is alarming.

Can the folks who support this power-grabbing narcissist at least stop calling themselves patriots? They don't defend this country and what it stands for.
If the constitution is still in operation, Trump's executive order abolishing the Department of Education is just a suggestion.

If Trump can abolish the Department of Education with an executive order, then the constitution is just a suggestion.

Thank you, Judge Reyes.

"Reyes wrote in her 79-page decision, later adding, 'The court's opinion is long, but its premise is simple. In the self-evident truth that "all people are created equal," all means all. Nothing more. And certainly nothing less.'"

Please sue the crap out of them for no due process!
ICE detained Julio Noriega, a 54 year-old US citizen who was born in Chicago, for over 10 hours on January 31st.

He was walking around "Berwyn, Illinois, handing out his resume to local businesses."

They didn't show him a warrant.

They didn't give him paperwork.

And he's now suing.

It's good to hear about the judicial branch upholding their end of the whole checks and balances thing.

I'd love to see that legislative branch get their hand on the mother flippin' ball.
President Trump has been signaling that he'd invoke the 1798 Act, which was last used to justify the internment of Japanese-American civilians during World War 2.

But a federal judge on Saturday blocked the administration from using the Alien Enemies Act to deport five Venezuelans.
