This administration outrightly supports a hate movement. Disappoints me to the depth of my heart that anyone believes this represents progress, or anything other than hatred toward everything non-white, non-cis, disabled, and non-male.
Intelligence officials are starting to leak to me now too. Here’s a memo Defense Intelligence Agency personnel received instructing them to suspend observances including:
- Holocaust Remembrance Day
- MLK Day
- Juneteenth

The felon (FOTUS) has endangered Americans and the world by allowing the release of abusers, murderers, pedophiles, and violent offenders. Sooo surprising, as FOTUS directs hate and ire toward the folks who actually work hard and take care of their families and neighbors.

Absolutely unacceptable.
NEW: My staff has confirmed reports that Medicaid portals are down in all 50 states following last night's federal funding freeze. This is a blatant attempt to rip away health care from millions of Americans overnight and will get people killed.

“One argument for why a ban is needed has been that it would be expensive to provide gender-affirming care….

The costs turn out to be very low… or about $3 million per year... (In contrast, the DoD spent nearly $300 million on erectile dysfunction medications, inc. Viagra… between ‘11 and ‘15.)”

The executive order speaks of transgender identity in sweeping and dismissive terms, and sets the stage for a policy that is more restrictive and punitive than the ban from Trump's first term.
