We strongly condemn @CondéNast’s consolidation plans for Teen Vogue, a move that is clearly designed to blunt the award-winning magazine’s insightful journalism at a time when it is needed the most. More from our statement:

this is truly devastating. the work teen vogue's politics section was doing was brilliant and necessary, and i am heartbroken for lex, the other staffers laid off, and for this tremendous loss.
I was laid off from Teen Vogue today along with multiple other staffers, and today is my last day.

certainly more to come from me when the dust has settled more, but to my knowledge, after today, there will be no politics staffers at Teen Vogue.

dissatisfied by the New York Times coverage of Zohran Mamdani?

great news! I talked to the guy Thursday about his campaign’s success at bringing community together beyond this election, and contextualized how it’s potentially shifted youth engagement with politics by simply listening @teenvogue.com
Zohran Mamdani's Establishment-Fighting Campaign Built Community for Young People
“What Mamdani has done is not only inspire and mobilize young people, but he has exposed the establishment and some of their calcified views of participation and inclusion.”

When ICE agents conceal their identities, it:

❌ Erodes public trust
❌ Escalates situations & civil rights abuses
❌ Enables private citizens to impersonate ICE

I'm calling on Congress to pass legislation requiring ICE to operate under clear guidelines that promote transparency and accountability.

We’re holding the Trump administration accountable – and it’s working.

After our win in court last week, NIH issued a memo Tuesday instructing the agency to halt additional grant terminations and pause cancellation of any grants scheduled to be terminated.

Zohran Mamdani's shocked American pundits by running on a platform that provided an alternative to Trump, the Democrats catering to him (hello, Newsom), and misogynist Andrew Cuomo. his economics-first campaign stridently protected trans rights as Dems largely refuse to. me on his win @teenvogue.com

Most Planned Parenthood patients are insured through Medicaid. The Supreme Court just undercut that.
Most people who go to Planned Parenthood — including for birth control and cancer screenings — are insured through Medicaid. The ruling could undercut their ability to get basic health care.

there is no longer any such thing as journalistic objectivity
The NYT was cited in the Supreme Court ruling used to strip trans people of healthcare. This is EXACTLY WHY the “just asking questions” crowd of centrist edgelord journalists are dangerous. They launder transphobia through faux neutral “debate” and act like it’s intellectual curiosity

More of this, please. Incredible news out of the courts today as Judge Young calls out this administration’s discrimination against our vulnerable communities and orders the restoration of NIH grants.
BREAKING: A federal judge in Massachusetts (the Reagan-appointed William Young) has declared the Trump administration's cuts to NIH grants — ostensibly over Trump's EOs on gender ideology and DEI — are "illegal" and "void." He's ordering many grants restored.
