Dear Internet:

#SCOTUS holding that the President can't be prosecuted for official acts does *not* mean, under *any* non-frivolous reading, that the *federal government,* including all of its officers, is immune from civil suits for *its* official acts.

There's just no equivalency between the two.

Trump's administration just announced a freeze on “all federal financial assistance.” That could mean Medicaid, disaster relief, farm aid, student loan programs, Head Start programs that help kids, highway funds, nutrition assistance, rent assistance. Potentially dozens more.
