Ok so remember all of those cheesy educational computer games? It would probably be a net good if we could get some adult literacy folks to team up with some software folks to make games that will teach at least some of the population to read even a little better. Secretly, like hiding veggies

Medicated and sleep deprived is a new one for me! Glad I have a quiet house to myself for now bc even though I'm pretty much just chilling my brain has been stuck for like 6 hours in one of those "as if I were talking to my therapist" monologues and it's not what I meant to be doing but it's good

recently i've been outlining some planner pages with the vague idea of finally putting together my own ideal planner like I've said I would for a few years but I'll be honest I'm balking a little at the premise of organizing and deciding on a reasonable printing method

I don't need a screen reader so I don't really want to pay for one or set one up but at the same time I am interested in learning how they process different punctuation marks and such. I think it'd make me a better editor and help post more thoughtfully in general. Not sure where to start looking

i've only watched twin peaks I think twice and it's been a while but am I correct in fondly remembering that when that one lady had I think brain damage and thought she was a teenager again there were people being pretty nice to her about it?

turns out part of the reason I was struggling so much with the knot in my neck that turned up today is that it was at least three knots in a trenchcoat
I knocked out two and this third one is giving me a hard time so I may need to reassess for further conspirators

I hope men understand that it is very very rare for anyone who is not a woman’s lover, close friend, or relative to stand up for her when another man insults her in a room of other men. It is incredibly unusual. They may not join in the bullying, but they’re unwilling to step in to stop it.

I used most but not all of the things people commonly recommend for top surgery recovery (if my partner weren't helping me I likely would have also used the poncho and shower chair and sponge on a stick) but bc of this I'd like to make an additional rec: back massage tool of any kind

I've seen a lot of thoughtful commentary on why Hillary and Kamala aren't great examples of whether or not Americans are willing to have a woman president but I do think, opinions on her policies aside, it's also worth remembering that Kamala got like 2 months to campaign not as VP
