Where’s the line between writing that moves us and writing that manipulates? How do you recognize emotional truth on the page without tipping into sentimentality?
November 10, 2025 at 2:42 PM
We have had a few requests from writers lately that have asked for feedback. Unfortunately, the volume of submissions we receive precludes us from providing feedback on all work.

We do have a paid category for editorial feedback. All money received goes directly to paying the writers we publish.

Actually, no fees! Our tip jar supports us paying our writers but it is fully optional. Submissions are free.

Do you think writers have a responsibility to comfort or to disrupt?

When you think of your favorite journals, what makes them memorable: the design, the writers, or the risk-taking?
