The problem is that you really DON'T need to understand why Gaston is the way he is. Why did he want Belle? He wants what he can't have and takes rejection badly. It's so easy to understand people consider it an out of control problem.

After reading the #Stonewall news today I recommend watching through legal means or otherwise The Death and Life of Marsha P Johnson. She was not only one of the organizers but during the HIV crisis of the 80's stayed with gays with no family until their last moments and this erasure is disgusting!

I have to say when I read that Rep. Raskin was trending... As someone not from the US and don't really know him my first thought is usually "Oh fuck, what are you people doing now?!" But I think I need to post about it because I'm genuinely relieved to see his speech. It's at least a start.
