10 September 1930 | An Italian Jewish woman, Liliana Segre, was born in Milan.
In January 1944, she was deported to #Auschwitz with her father Alberto who perished in the camp in April 1944.
Liliana survived. Today, she is a Senator for life in #Italy and turns 95.

AI is an absolute culture-sucking scourge. Everyone I know across the creative board is suffering. And we're not talking a small decline in contracts; freelancers are losing 70% to 100% of their income.
I mainly get by on writing wedding speeches. This year the number of jobs has dipped by around 70% - I have a feeling AI has something to do with this. Oh happy days.

Lungi da me fare pubblicità a questo o a quel metodo però per fare chiarezza dovete sapere che non serve alcun "lettore di carte" da collegare al pc. Basta registrare la carta sulla app "CIE id"⬇️

Il fascismo mandò al confino oltre 12k persone. A #Ventotene erano circa 800. Sto seguendo la storia di uno di loro, sconosciuto alle cronache, che uscito con gli ultimi a fine agosto 1943 dopo l'8 settembre nella RSI fu arrestato, poi deportato a Dachau e lì assassinato nel 1945. Che vergogna.

With everything happening in the US right now, how safe are scientific conferences for foreign participants in the US? I think this is something we have to discuss as a scientific community. I am hesitating to register for US meetings due to the unpredictable situation. Others who feel the same?

Questi nei musei non li vedrete mai. Evvai con l' #archeologia. I pozzi. i pozzi sono uno scrigno di tesori per un archeologo, una promessa di sorprese imprevedibili. L'unico problema è che raramente uno scavo va così in profondità da arrivare sul fondo di un pozzo.
