Ran the city2surf for the first time after a couple of years of building from 0k-5k-10k-> .. aimed to finish in under 90mins which would require averaging about 6:20k’s which is a bit slow for me now (typically a bit under 6:00 for 10k).. ended up 84mins which is bang on 6:01.. very happy with that

Returning after a week in china where easily 50+% of cars on roads in shanghai and beijing are electric; its jumping out to me that australia is bloody noisy due to ICE vehicles..

Quite excited about my first trip to mainland china..
But also, once you get used to an efficient layover with shower and breakfast, its hard to contemplate travelling any other way
