I listened to a biography of FDR recently and the throughline of his first 2 terms is that he was boldly against monied interests in word and deed and the American people fucking loved him to death for it*

SO... I'm pretty much done with Fortnite. There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Between that, and the upcoming shitty wizard collab... Yeah, I'm done.

it's really easy to get USamericans to say "fuck america" on the subject of thanksgiving but as soon as you challenge them to understand the celebration of thanksgiving as itself racist they get real uncomfortable and defensive.
