In 2023, Patricia Taxxon produced the soundtrack for the short film "in your orbit" by Jules Hydes and Luka Brown, which went unused. Now the film is released for free on youtube, and I designed this album cover for Patricia's version of the score!

suspicious as in, fundamentally incapable of dealing with basic claims regarding the situation. this contract sucks ass, lead Patricia to believe she'd be paid for her work, and bona bones signed off on it like nothing was wrong with it.
After I confronted them with the actual text of the contract, showing that it merely silently omitted payment instead of stating it as free work outright, they said "I'm disengaging, you are a liar" and blocked me. And yeah, I hope they disengage before they get fucking fired

the central claim is that patricia taxxon signed an ambiguously phrased contract and then wasn't paid for her work. responding to this with unrelated bad faith interpretations of posts she made and info obtained from harassment campaigns is not only bizarrely unprofessional but fucking suspicious

yeah she claims she signed a contract as an independent contractor, and then didn't receive any money, but also, i heard from the kiwifarms harassment campaign that she said some yucky stuff so :/
