i used to haaaaate tecna's design when i was a kid. now i like wildly respect its weirdness, it's so fucking fun and good and so reflective of her oddness as a character

it's cause i loaded in a whole animatic video and it's storing the full 4K resolution of every unique frame, and i guess due to some bitrate stuff almost everything got picked up as a new frame. managed to size it down to ~1GB by cutting redundant frames. it loads faster now too

tvpaint files can just kind of blow up into 20 gigabytes for no reason, interesting.
