It is fully irresponsible to argue for an American return to global leadership. This country is deeply unwell and has no business leading anything until that's no longer the case. There's a whole world out there capable of tending to the world's problems. We must tend to ours.

Call it Anti-Industrial Policy: we need is a suite of policies to nudge Americans to own and operate more little public-facing businesses. Speciality shops. Six-seater bars. Esoteric services. Restaurants serving two or three dishes. It would lower overall productivity and increase quality of life.

there are so many things that just make sense™ in Danish society that are pretty difficult to put into words. There needs to be a way to make the land use and societal practices here modular for other places to adopt

I've been in Europe, Madrid, Copenhagen, and Stockholm specifically and I've seen one (1) pickup truck so far,.which was actually being used for a valid reason.
