The owner of Kingsmill has agreed to buy its rival Hovis in a deal that would create the UK’s biggest bread brand if the competition regulator approves it, but also put jobs at risk.

The deliberate destruction of Picturehouse Central - London’s best cinema and social space - by its rapacious landlords (the same guys threatening the Prince Charles) is an ongoing disgrace. So upsetting to witness. This place used to be thronged with people working and chatting and socialising.
