I say this with all due respect to the great traditional country artist of history: it's possible that most country music fans today just have no taste at all anymore. However, if AI is going to take anyone's job, let it be "pop country" hacks. 😂

I’m still holding out hope that this cave is a trick to get the House back in session. Even if it isn’t, there’s still time to prevent the cave from happening because the backlash has been quite intense today. 🤞

This is actually in my county, and its crazy that I'm learning about it through Democracy Docket. They are doing the Lord's work!
🚨BREAKING: Arizona Court of Appeals AFFIRMS dismissal of a lawsuit by Mohave County Supervisor Ron Gould seeking to force full hand counts. Court holds that Gould lacked standing.

Another big victory for my law firm, its clients and the voters of Arizona. www.democracydocket.com/cases/arizon...

I really didn’t want them to win, but this is a good point I guess. I hope the Blue Jays bring the same fire next year, though.
Yes, the Dodgers are the Dodgers, basically Yankees West, but L.A. has been through a lot recently, they can have this one. Congrats.

Ok, they need to give an Emmy to whoever followed up the big fight on the field by playing Taylor Swift’s Bad Blood going to commercial. 🤣🤣🤣

So the batter gets hit, and the next batter responds by somehow hitting the pitcher back. This game is insane! #worldseries

I’m watching Fox News for a whole day as an experiment for a video I will be doing soon. The fact that they tell lies and mischaracterize and find angles is not surprising. But there are two glaring truths I’ve learned:

It’s becoming clear that Republicans are not going to win this shutdown fight.
Walz: "They are paying contractors to pay down the East Wing but they're not putting money into the food bank. So if there's a sense of frustration in America, it's very real ... when the White House press secretary said their top priority is the ballroom, we could not disagree more."

The concert tribute at the World Series right now is touching. It would be even better if it wasn’t happening in a world where funding for cancer research was being cut, though.

Honestly, Bret Baier is imminently more qualified than Bari Weiss, who should not be anywhere near a news room.

This is worth a read.
Single-member districts unavoidably mean the tyranny of the map. You can try to be a benevolent dictator about it, and that's certainly preferable to a malignant one, but you're still deciding the vast majority of the results before a single vote is cast.
Over 200 Democracy Scholars Call on Congress to End Single-Member Congressional District
More than 200 political scientists, legal scholars, and historians released an open letter calling on Congress to reject the United States’ winner-take-all elections.

I live in one of the reddest counties in the country and the No Kings protest where I live surprised me.

Twice the turnout as NK 1.0, and with fewer cars flipping people off. But LOTS of cars honking. Even the cops were smiling unironically the whole time. The GOP is toast.

New theory: They’re just making this up to see how gullible their supporters are.
Besides linking Tylenol in pregnant women to autism, RFK Jr. now says circumcision is part of the reason why kids are autistic.

"Children who are circumcised early have double the rate of autism, and it's highly likely because they're given Tylenol. None of this is positive..."
