I live in one of the reddest counties in the country and the No Kings protest where I live surprised me.
Twice the turnout as NK 1.0, and with fewer cars flipping people off. But LOTS of cars honking. Even the cops were smiling unironically the whole time. The GOP is toast.

I can think of no better sign that we will get through this moment than seeing the post-Liberal godfather, Curtis Yarvin, ranting about how their whole project, which they've been working on for decades, is failing because of Trump's narcissism.

Also, right wing media is saying that the "liberal media" was silent on the Charlotte lightrail stabbing. Actually, ALL national media was silent on it until recently, including FOX. There is no conspiracy, that's just how the news works.

A big reason Americans are so divided is because we don’t know as much about each other as we think we do. We need more empathy and communication, and less atomization and consumable media.
