Making a new list over at Backloggd after being inspired by the inept, helpless gods featured in Makai Toushi SaGa and Baroque, which I now view as a sort of remake of the former.

Final Fantasy Legend is unbelievable. It starts off as usual medieval fare but takes an absurdist turn and never looks back. You'll go from witnessing an inter-species marriage to helping a bosozoku gang take down the mad bird that turned their futurist world into a post-apocalyptic wasteland (1/2)
