The sport of football needs 100 Martin Calladines
Earlier this year, a new club-buying app called FC100,000 was launched to considerable unmerited fanfare. It failed to buy Scunthorpe, but promised it would transform football ownership. But sometime in the last fortnight, its website was deleted and one of the two founders resigned.

A lot of discussion is understandably taking place about the rules on multi-club ownership groups.

The best approach would be to ban them. They have no legitimate purpose - creating two-tier football in pursuit of allowing rich people to buy sporting advantage.
