Listening to @drjaninaramirez.bsky.social 's Legenda which is fascinating so far. I do think if your brother's name was "Henry the Fratricidal" you'd keep more of an eye on him though.

“I am a Liberal, and I am against this sort of thing.”

Liberal activist Harry Willcock spoke these words upon being stopped by a policeman 75 years ago. He was the last person in this country to be prosecuted for refusing to produce an identity card when demanded to do so by the authorities. 2/

We're in a cost of living crisis and Labour wants to bring in digital ID cards for everyone.

They're risking turning the UK into a pre-crime state where we constantly have to prove who we are just to go about our daily lives.

I'm sure Farage's UK doge attempts will be much more successful though. After all I'm sure all those Reform councillors have loads of relevant knowledge and experience.

I would encourage everyone in the UK to write to their MP to encourage them both to comdem Musk's comments and also remove any official accounts from Twitter/X.
Make them know that we do not find his behaviour acceptable.
Elon Musk openly called for violence on our streets yesterday.

I hope politicians from all parties come together to condemn his deeply dangerous and irresponsible rhetoric.

Britain must stand united against this clear attempt to undermine our democracy.

A Labour government that does not fight back against the far right, racism and extremism fundamentally misunderstands the nature of its electoral support.

I could really do with a strong statement from the government right now condemning Musk's statements at the far-right rally today.
We need to be highlighting that these views are not acceptable in democratic society.

Discovering computer as an adult makes you go crazy. Discovering computer as a baby makes you go crazy. In all of human history, there will only ever be one generation to discover computer at the correct age: 13
The problem with every post-Millennial generation is they got to go straight to high speed internet. Of course you'll get computer madness that way. Make them start with those old screeching modems and work their way up

I'm dumbstruck by this. It can only lead to new cars being made for the EU market using weaker US safety standards in a race to the bottom. I pray this doesn't hit the UK too.
This is an INSANE decision by the E.U.

“By signing up to mutual recognition of vehicle standards with the U.S., the E.U. has waved the white flag on road safety. This is not a technical detail – it is a political choice that puts trade convenience ahead of saving lives.”

This will kill people.
