French lower house votes through wealth tax.

A 2% minimum tax rate on the wealth of individuals whose net worth exceeds €100m.

It is not yet law.

UK needs to do similar to reduce inequalities. Instead govts penalise low/middle income families and make poor pay more for crumbling infrastructure.
