Yes. Imagine if Harvard said
“We’ll keep our Boston campus, but because Trump Republicans want to make it impossible to have free thought in America, we are exploring a new campus in Toronto.”

It would be a power move that would put MAGA on their heels.

This. This is not a "Trump holds all the cards" scenario . If I were Harvard I would very publicly explore international campuses.
A whole-of-government attack on Harvard--now attacking Harvard's eligibility to host international students. Does Trump know that Harvard can create a campus basically wherever it wants outside the US?

Yes--Germany invented the modern university. In the 1930s its universities were the best in the world until the Nazis destroyed them. German universities have never recovered their preeminence. We risk repeating this history here in the US.
Germany still hasn’t fully recovered from expelling and killing so many of its top researchers back in 1933. A lot of brilliant minds were forced to leave—people who went on to do groundbreaking work in other countries, especially the U.S.

Hard to fathom that this is America
This US is now a country that prohibits border crossings from international scholars who are critical of the US regime.
So on March 9, a French scientist, on a visa to attend a conference in Houston, was denied entry to the US and subsequently expelled because his phone had messages decrying scientific policies put forward by the Trump administration: www.lemonde.fr/internationa...

The bill they passed did not include no tax on tips or no tax on overtime. It did include a multi-trillion windfall for billionaires.

They’re just straight up lying to you and hoping you don’t notice.
