Joined Devonport Councillors Anne Freeman and Bill Stevens at Pottery Quay for their annual summer beach clean. Huge community response and so many bags of rubbish collected.

There’s such a strong community spirit at Pottery Quay and they’ve got a clean beach again! Well done.

📢 It’s National HIV Testing Week!
I took a quick, easy HIV test in Parliament – it only took 15 minutes for my result. You can order a free home test this week at www.startswithme.org.uk.
With 4,700 people in England unaware they have HIV, testing is key to ending new cases by 2030. #HIVTestingWeek

Glad to join the team and have some good conversations about NHS and gas works in the area
Great morning on the doors.

Many residents mentioned delight that we have secured Derriford’s new A&E after years of empty Tory promises.

We knock doors all year round, not just at election time!

If UK news shows are going to give Nigel Farage a platform to spout this absolute boll**** about Brexit & the vaccine rollout (unchallenged) I’ll happily come back every week to correct it

We cannot allow them to rewrite history.

If you agree share this FACT CHECK widely

Andrew Norfolk is the former Times journalist whose work brought the grooming gang scandal to public attention...
Make no mistake. Every politician, pundit & online grifter amplifying Musk's dangerous lies will be aware of this intervention by now. Make no mistake, they are choosing to mislead the public & politicise the suffering of victims in the shameful pursuit of political advantage, attention & clicks.

And - there had been a very detailed over 7 years, I think, inquiry into this dreadful issue.
the last government could have implemented the findings.

This government has begun to do this. Why do we need another inquiry?
Your reminder that neither the Conservative Party nor Reform UK called for a new inquiry into grooming gangs in their manifestos just six months ago. I won’t bother searching for editorials from the same period but I don’t imagine such calls were there either
