Nephew seems to do very well with his plane now. He knows how to keep it at a direction he wants, responds on the fly, and keeps it under control. Maybe in only two more sessions he'll be ready for the next step up.

At some point I need to make an EDF canard design. Based off the way I think EDFs get their best thrust, a Canard would be a great way to minimize drag while retaining traditional aero controls.
I never built a canard before tho, so it would be a bit of a learning curve for me.

First crash with Antagonist today. Ran out of power and tip stalled on landing in a glide. Struck a wing and the nose, but it handled the crash very well.
This is why its valuable to have a spare glue gun and inverter to make the quick repair, and go back flying 💪🏾

I looked up the stats on Bullfighters motor again, the NTM 3536 1800Kv motor (version 1) and found a thrust test on it.
A motor that is "rated" at 875 watts is pushing 1400 on my chosen prop 👁️👄👁️ #avgeek

It has twice the power, probably twice the thrust, and higher efflux, and yet Antagomist STILL feels only about as fast as Bullfighter
I can only theorize that the limitations are coming from Antagonists greater frontal area. Its darn near double that of Bullfighter, which relates to twice the drag

Divergent types are typically on real Turbofans; they force the incoming air to slow down, which makes it denser. For jet engines, its desirable for engine performance. I thought that for an EDF, it would be good for mass flow

Bullfighter is fixed, plus has a new belly hump to help avoid more firewall damages, and Antagonist has thrust body objects to get even more performance out of it.

I4, V6, Hybrid, EV, V8, V12, Flat 6, turbocharged, supercharged, front, mid, and rear engined.
To be driven is a V10, I5, a Flat 4, a Rotary, and I guess Flat 12 tho THAT will be unlikely!
